Whew! For the first time I know of and the first time Mr Ray T knows of over 60 years of serious boating , they closed the Cumberland River to recreational traffic for 5 days. Well the river reopened today, just in time for a private college graduation party that we booked 4 weeks ago. It was a fun cruise.
I have been talking to Bledsoe Creek State Park about doing tours from there on Sat. mornings with their Naturalist. Cool huh, a different area of the lake and the naturalist might teach me something. Well that is on hold, refer to above about Mother Nature, their docks were damaged. I'll get something going though. Come cuise with me. Happy Sails to you! Oh and Smile! Cpt. My last cruise of the day is a sunset cruise and after the sunset we watch the bats come out of the bat cave. Well they have been hibernating and they return in April. They are back now. Only two people, but we spotted an Eagle. I just learned this, but a young Bald Eagle (age 3 or 4) does not have the white head. That is a mature Adult Eagle. I didn't have my camera, but this is a pic off the net of what we saw. I hope it is nesting in this area, because if so they come back year after year.

Cruising and Loving it

Sorry I haven't updated, but I am starting today.
