Derby Weekend 2010, Mother Nature teams up with the Cumberland River and they show their ass. Whew! For the first time I know of and the first time Mr Ray T knows of over 60 years of serious boating , they closed the Cumberland River to recreational traffic for 5 days. Well the river reopened today, just in time for a private college graduation party that we booked 4 weeks ago. It was a fun cruise.
I have been talking to Bledsoe Creek State Park about doing tours from there on Sat. mornings with their Naturalist. Cool huh, a different area of the lake and the naturalist might teach me something. Well that is on hold, refer to above about Mother Nature, their docks were damaged.
